I am trying to install the GDAL support for Jpeg2000 on a Geoserver 2.6.x
installation. I have been trying to follow these instructions:

I downloaded and installed the following, per the instructions:
Coverage Formats JPEG2k http://geoserver.org/release/stable/, placed in my
web-inf folder
The GDAL binaries and msi from here:
http://demo.geo-solutions.it/share/github/imageio-ext/releases/1.1.X/1.1.10/native/gdal/windows/MSVC2010/
The GDAL data from here:
http://demo.geo-solutions.it/share/github/imageio-ext/releases/1.1.X/1.1.10/native/gdal/
I have a GDAL_DATA environment variable
After restarting GeoServer, I am still not seeing JPEG2000 support. I'll admit
that I am having trouble understanding the instructions, I did the best I
could. But I am not able to get JPEG2000 to work. Does anyone have any ideas?
