Please regard the bigger picture: GeoServer is an Open Source project. Nothing is perfect, but GeoServer's overall quality meets most users' expectations. Unfortunately these users remain quiet, why should they? GeoServer works for them. What we discuss here are the "imperfections" and enhancements in order to strive for even more quality. People like Andrea do their best to answer a zillion questions, many posed without specific context, like "GeoServer doesn't work" in their spare/unpaid time. We are all in this together to make GeoServer a better product. This also requires effort from users, like learning a maybe unfamiliar ticketing system or GitHub. That may be hard. Paid support from companies like GeoSolutions is another option. In the end it boils down to being an Open Source Citizen, greatly worded by Paul Ramsey: http://blog.cleverelephant.ca/2013/10/being-open-source-citizen.html My 2cts, best, Just > > I've wasted enough time on this. > > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: 26 February 2015 18:08 > To: [email protected] > Subject: Geoserver-users Digest, Vol 105, Issue 80 > > Send Geoserver-users mailing list submissions to > [email protected] > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/geoserver-users > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > [email protected] > > You can reach the person managing the list at > [email protected] > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: > Contents of Geoserver-users digest..." > > > Today's Topics: > > 1.
