the fix for GeoTiff Reader should be ready, but since your sample data is
too big for being added in GeoTools, are you able toÂÂ
provide us a smaller data (for example some tens of Kb)?ÂÂ
Actually GDAL is unable to keep the same CRS if trying to reduce the image
size since by default  it sets the UoM definition to "m".
