I am fairly new to GIS and have a potential client who wants a higher-res
aerial map in GEP.
I have tried many options to get him several overlays, etc. but GEP
converts to superoverlay which I cannot figure out how to get to him.
One of the options from my search was GeoServer. I have installed it on a
Win7-64bit computer but things are not going so well. Also, I do not think
I am in a position to HOST a server for him to be pulling from even though
I am intrigued about doing this into the future if I can get over the
learning curve.
1st. Is GeoServer a reasonable solution for me to accomplish my current
goal?
2nd How in the world do I configure and use it for my goal.
I have read the docs, but I will admit it seems beyond me even with the
good docs.
I hope this email find you all well, and please forgive me if I have
entered inappropriately.
