Hello again, Yes, you are right, it’s not optimal with performance in mind. But in our case we are using a service on internet where login is required. By using cascadning wms we could hide the login-information from exposing in a js-file.
If the problem couldn’t be solved we will leave GeoServer for the cascading WMS.
