I am new to Geoserver, and have taken over an existing project. My first task is to upgrade the version of Geoserver which is running. Despite the fact that I have done this the Build Information still shows the old version number, and other associated information.
Apart from the fact that I uninstalled the old version from the server, and can clearly see the new version number as a service on the server, the Build Information is still the old information. I also noticed that the Contact Information had reverted back to Claudius Ptolemaeus.
Am I doing something wrong here, where is this build information derived from?
