Hi Mike,
there is no MSVC2012 option. Those versions are based on the one available
on GISInternals releases: http://www.gisinternals.com/archive.php
It seems like MSVC2010 doesn't support Windows Server 2012.

Although we never personally did tests with higher GDAL versions, there are
several emails on the list about users experimenting GDAL 1.11 on GeoServer.
I don't remember the outcome of their tests but if they had those versions
working, you may consider testing them on your side too.
In that case, the GISInternals page contains GDAL 1.11.4 native libs for
MSVC2012 and MSVC2013.

Again, I'm not sure if at the end they will work OR if you need to do some
tuning on your side since we never tested them.
However it can be a path to try to get something working on MS Server 2012.
