Hi Andrea, Thanks for a quick answer. No there is nothing in the log. Actually, the last entries are from the upgrade 2.9.0=>2.9.1, i.e. from the installation of 2.9.1 (always overwrites the entire geoserver directory). I tried different logging profiles - no success. And these changes to the logging settings do not persist after a restart of Geoserver. Then logging is always back to DEFAULT. Maybe I should install the universal jetty-based binary and try again.
