You are using the wrong mechanisms, check the SLD spec, what you have in
the mark works by accident due to our dynamic symbolizers extension (which
was meant mostly for external graphics) ;-)
You should be embedding <ogc:PropertyName>myAttribute</ogc:PropertyName>
instead, that's the indended mechansm (assuming you are using SLD 1.0)
