with you need to separate out coverage?

Geotools Coverage (as it stand today) is completly independent of any Geotools interfaces to be separated. Coverage currently implements only GeoAPI 2.0 interfaces. We may implement GeoAPI pending interfaces in the near future as an experimental ISO 19123 implementation, but it still GeoAPI only.

By the way Alessio, I forgot to tell that I commited the remaining ISO 19123 interfaces that you sent me a while ago. All ISO 19123 interfaces should now be there. Next step will be to discuss and see which changes may be needed. I have not yet generated any javadoc for the GeoAPI pending directory however, but I have a Maven 2 build running :)

The only possible issue is that Coverage should extends Feature. But we are not yet there, and we can wait that the Feature interfaces are ready before to investigate this issue.

I believe that moving Coverage in its own module is a relatively low-risk task, since it is already quite independent.

        Martin.
