To John, Hello. I finally found time to calculate a test script for the Equidistant Cylindrical. I also made a few changes to get the test script running:
I changed the Latutide_of_origin parameter to standard_parallel_1. This follows ESRI and Mr. Snyder, and I am pretty sure the EPSG was wrong by calling this the Latitude of Natural Origin (since it is not by their own definition). I included a separate PlateCarree provider. The only reason I did this is so the SP1 parameter is output in WKT if the projection is Equidistant Cylindrical and SP1 is 0. I also added a check that the CRS is spherical. This means that EPSG:32662 should fail to be created now. The EPSG gives the elliptical equation and I plan to implement and test it latter this week (should only be one or two lines of changes). The work on this projection is now being tracked in GEOT-766 in the issue tracker. Rueben ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the JBoss Inc.
