I would like to move the test files from:

module/sample-data/src/org/geotools/resources/test-data
or any other directory under the org.geotools package for the same
reason than the plugin/shapefile module: we are not allowed to fetch
resources from the root package with Maven 2.
I would like to take this occasion for moving most test files to the
module/sample-data module in order to avoid duplication (especially
statpop.dbf and its friends which are copied again and again in many
modules). I would also like to move the following files to the
sample-data directory:
module/main/src/org/geotools/data/DataTestCase.java
module/referencing/src/org/geotools/resources/TestData.java
This refactoring impact only the test suites. It should have no impact
on the code itself.
Any objection if I do this refactoring?
Sounds good Martin, I would still like to see 2.2.RC0 go out - but we
need someone brave enough to setup the new module for rendering.
I am still not able to rase the developers guide, or codehaus staff.
Perhaps tuesday?
I suppose I could just tag it? Do you have time to make a build? Or
bother codehaus for that matter...
With respect to mave 1 vs maven 2 - since James is not around and we
have much breakage (and you are keen on maven 2)
perhaps we can set 2.2.RC0 as the last maven 1 build. So far the
negatives have been with respect to risk, overring something so "maven
eclipse" can pick up on the generated code, and J2EE (aka does not
effect us).
Best of the new year to you.
