Nope, it is just asking us to follow the developers guide (the same way
we ask new people to do before they pass a code review). Aka run jalopy
before you commit, that way we don't have to waste time explaining code
conventions.
This aspect of geotools impressed me when I first met the geotools
community, using a tool so that developers would not have to argue about
code formating. Kinda like unit tests.
I do admit I am part of the problem (and the developer who writes if( x
) and does not use Jalopy to fix it).
