Are you using Maven 2? The attempt to load "api-2.3.x.jar" suggest me that you
are using Maven 1
(with Maven 2, I would expect an attempt to load "api-2.3-SNAPSHOT.jar"
instead). Maven 1 is not
really supported anymore.
Note for Geotools PMC: Shout we consider to remove completly the Maven 1
configuration files from
SVN in order to avoid confusion? I can do that for the trunk if peoples agree
(should be easy and fast).
