sorry to bother with my requests ... actually I'm going to develop a new small project where I should filter some features from a shapefile/database against different attribute types which can be even time.
At this moment I have no clear ideas on how can I get a time filter on features, or how to interface features with time attributes and using it with GeoTools/GeoServer.
So ... before starting my researches, I would like to ask if some of you have already done something similar and could show me a good starting direction or maybe someone has an idea to let me follow the right path!!!
For clarity I will try to describe better (as I can at this moment) my issue.
At a certain (very near) point of my life I should have to manage some objects stored somewhere. Those object can be represented as a DB record, with several attributes. Among those attributes there is even a date-time attribute. What I have to do at the end is a simple WMS client which get those objects from GeoServer, doing some filtering, of course, even against time attributes.
