More feedback that came up just recently for me. I just spent some time tracking down a bug on trunk that was fixed on the other active branches ( 2.2.x, 2.3.x )
I am wondering if we need to make it policy that bugs get applied to all active branches, and most importantly trunk. And also that fixes getting ported should not occur in batches. Ie, do not wait weeks or even days to apply the changes, because you probably will miss some or just forget about it. I suggest this because I know other people share the same concern as me that with branch development going on, things get missed. And spending time hunting the same bug down in two places by two different developers leads to a lot of time wasted. So... 1. Do we make the application of any bug fix / patch to all branches simultaneously a mandatory practice. 2. If the answer to 1 is yes, how do we enforce it? -Justin Jody Garnett wrote: > And about the other pages? >> Yup, I reviewed this before.
