Actually I noticed that none of those static methods need public access in the
Geotools code base, except 'getTransform' which is used in RendererUtilities,
but it was not necessary (the existing API was suffisient - it just needed a
small trick).
Can I turn back those methods as private ones? I don't think that they should
be
public. I will add some new public methods for peoples wanting control on
CELL_CENTER vs CELL_CORNER behavior as a replacement.
