The recent GeoTools meeting kind of indicated we wanted the students 
cast on the mercy of the development list. OSGeo has asked us to have 
two contact persons for each student.

I placed some names on that wiki page ... if you see a project that has 
a mentor listed with a "?" after the name it means I am making stuff up 
(and a real volunteer is needed). See if anything that interests you 
lets talk about it on email and see if we can hook you up.

I do not think Google formally allows more then one mentor using their 
tool - If you want to sign up as a mentor you will need to visit the 
google SoC site (and fill in a google id like a gmail address), and then 
add yourself to OSGeo and ping our friend Frank (recently living up to 
his name with GeoTools feedback).
