Hey Jody, We need to talk about legal stuff in a couple of days, probably by phone not to exclude anyone but to be efficient.
I am currently working on the latest draft of the Copyright assignment document. That work has mushroomed into writing an overview of the situation and designing the legal framework for geotools down the road (e.g. permission letters, file header wordings and package documentation. Your help will be useful in this second part (i.e. do we need a LICENSE file and an LGPL file in every package/module/zip?). We will need to come up with a good plan and then get everyone to buy into to it.
