Simone / Vitali - uDig has not had a chance to update beyond GeoTools 
2.2 (so we do not have all of Simone's hard work on screen yet).

The uDig trunk/ source tree is right now looking at GeoTools 2.4; this 
will change tomorrow before the code sprint (but we will be sure to tag 
before jump). We talked about making a "release" before the conference 
just so people could see how much faster the crazy Italian combo of 
Simone and Andrea have made everything ;-) But prepping for the 
confernece lab took priority.
