Indeed they are used in demos; hopefully Eclisia will have swing-widgets
patched up in time for 2.5.

Thanks for trying; I think we may want three splits at the end of the 
day; I just watched a fellow refractions employee spend an afternoon 
trying to figure out what jars are needed for referencing support :-(

New for GeoTools 2.4:
- many expressions improvements using converters to correctly handle a 
range of queries
- style interfaces now use geoapi filter (no more casting!)
- redirect to an alternate logging api
- datastore dispose
- make use of java connection pools
- use a registered java DataSource for epsg database in a Java EE 
enviornment
- user guide; with a small section for 2.4.0
- xml - xsd was added as a supported module
- iso geometry implementation available as a supported module
- community change proposal process has been adopted
