I wanted a review before writing the test case. I know it is what was 
described on the proposal page; but still it is a little different 
seeing it in code.

I don't think they are using versioned tables. And I will get the stack 
trace to you today.

That was going to be what I recommended as well. Sounds expensive to 
test. Are you running ArcSDE locally now?
