I don't have the option of trying out Eclipse 3.4 (which is out today). 
For now I will need to comment out the test case that is causing the 
failure.
Martin sorry for committing into your class with out permission; I am 
out of time.

Can we explore the ideas Andrea talks about above via email; and I am 
happy to help fix things tomorrow. I appologize if my words about Java 6 
were strong; uDig also makes use of Java 6 and it would be nice to 
upgrade; you saw my bug report that "plain" Java 6 does not compile 
geotools right now (you need to install JAI and ImageIO). We will need 
to put in some hard time before Java 6 is an option.
