FYI, I'm volunteering to release 2.5-RC0 by the end of this week (ie, Friday).
That's the one that needs to be released, not 2.5.0, right? otherwise why 
would we have 2.5-RC0 scheduled in Jira...

To make that happen I'll start by taking care of a couple issues of mine that 
are pending for 2.5-RC0, but if there's anything else I can help with please 
tell.
