Hey Mauricio,

Fantastic work on your language---sounds like a big effort and I'm glad
to think it will pay off.

'Tis late in the game to bring this up, and I suspect I may have raised
this before, but I got to say this nonetheless. THE NAME SUCKS. That's
really too bad since the first impression adds a, totally avoidable,
negative take on what looks like great work. TXT means something and
absolutely *everyone* knows what it means. TXT is a file format. Using
it as the name of a language is like calling a car "ball". Probably we
could figure out from context what is being said but why add the work to
your users/readers/documentors? CQL has the advantage of having a
memorable and descriptive acronym: "something query language". I am not
looking forward to confusion your TXT name will add to the mailing
lists, documentation or other layers of the library.

So I would encourage you to change the name. You surely can come up with
something you like which is both descriptive and un-encumbered, e.g.
TXTQL or some such. But please avoid us the cost of having to explain
that TXT in geotools is actually the name of a language too.

thanks,
adrian
