I am new to this group and I would like to inform you that we have developed
the eXcat CSW server and client based on the eXist XML database. We used
Geotools (in particular for the CQL/Filter functions). The software is
available for free at http://gdsc.nlr.nl/gdsc/tools/excat (currently only as
a .war file).
In our project it appeared very useful and I think that people in this group
might be interested as well.
