Well, for that, I'd say we could tackle it in a number of ways:
- have a special function interface that allows for bounds compuatation
- just try to transform the bounds and get the bounds of the result

I guess what I'm proposing is not really full blown Expression, but more
of PropertyName/Function alternative like in the WFS 1.1 specification
(look at QueryType).

As a matter of fact I am, I just got stuck on that thread due to
negative feedback. But mind, I am on a personal basis, this means
weekend time for me, not workweek one. But if we're pushing this
togheter, it seems very doable to me.
