Hi everyone, so here is a quick summary: Current version of vecmath in geottols is 1.3.1 and source code for this particular version is not available from https://vecmath.dev.java.net/source/browse/vecmath/.
Vecmath 1.5.2 was tested by Jody with with extensive tests turned on referencing and epsg-hsql modules with geotools and uDig - it works. Vecmath 1.3.2 was tested by Andrea with geotools and also with geoserver. Andrea mentioned that geotools works, how did it go with geoserver? From my side I can say that both version compile without problems. Saying that can we decide on version? Cheers Alex Geotools was tested and works with (Andrea, can you please confirm it) and its also work with 1.5.2 Jody Garnett wrote: > Vecmath 1.3.2 also works. > > Jody > > On 18/08/2009, at 4:41 PM, Jody Garnett wrote: > > >> Andrea reminded me (thanks!) about mvn -Pextensive.tests install. >> With extensive tests turned on referencing and epsg-hsql modules build >> with out error using vecmath 1.5.2. >> >> So I can recommend it as an option. >> >> Andrea has also asked that I try out vecmath 1.3.2 which I will do so >> next; I don't think it makes any difference to Alex (who will check >> out whatever version the community decides on for his review). >> >> Jody >> >> On Tue, Aug 18, 2009 at 3:52 PM, Jody >> Garnett<jody.garn...@gmail.com> wrote: >> >>> On 17/08/2009, at 8:16 PM, Andrea Aime wrote: >>> >>> >>>>>> Changing to 1.3.2 is going to make us go in uncharted territory, >>>>>> we have to hope that either no bugs have been introduced in the >>>>>> 1.3.2 >>>>>> release, or that our test suite catches them. >>>>>> >>>>> Yeah I am aware where it is used and am not thrilled; the latest >>>>> version of vecmath is 1.5.2 >>>>> >>>> I know, there has been a ton of releases in the middle, but even >>>> looking at GeoToolkit, they are still using 1.3.1 >>>> >>> I have been able to build with 1.5.2 and run uDig without issue. >>> >>> Jody >>> >>> > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day > trial.
