Wow, nice to see things moving forward in WCS land!

I guess some review is needed, and there might be timing issues with the
releases in progress.

The net.opengis.wcs module is actually already committed in GeoTools
so I guess your module would be an update to it. This will affect the
existing WCS 1.1 implementation in GeoServer

The xsd/xsd-wcs module will contain bindings that are not in GeoTools,
but that are at least partially already available in the WCS 1.1
module of GeoServer

What are your target timelines both GeoTools and GeoServer wise?
Is ND going to be merged in GS 2.1? If so, and given both GeoTools
and GeoServer are in, or close to, release candidate status,
waiting a bit for the two to branch off a new stable branch
would give you a much more comfortable environment ot work on
without the pressure to keep everything stable from day one.

This is something that need to be part of a road map for both
projects (see also the road mapping discussions on GeoServer
devel).
