Sorry to hear that UCOSP is ending. But glad to hear that the module 
won't be left unmaintained.

So I guess we need to get Alex commit access. The first thing would be 
to get a new account on osgeo:

https://www.osgeo.org/cgi-bin/ldap_create_user.py

Once you have a username we can get you commit access to the ingres module.

Other then that you should probably get set up on JIRA, Confluence, and 
Codehaus.

Once you have those accounts you can apply to join the geotools project 
as a developer:
