Mmm... not unless maven uses a different structure on some platforms (?) The exec plugin should be in org/codehaus/mojo within your normal ~/.m2 repository. > Thus far the user I was helping solved there problem by including the pom.xml > lines mentioned earlier. Since it all works for me with a blank slate I'm stumped to think what could be going wrong. It's not something to do with working from within an IDE is it ? (I was building and running from the command line).
