Hi all,

I am on the last step of the documentation proposal, which is pushing
built docs to the geotools.org site.

My main question is from what branch should the site be generated? Trunk
or the latest stable branch?

For the website itself it would make sense just to generate it from the
trunk. However for hte user guide I guess it would make more sense to
publish multiple copies of it, one for trunk, one for the stable branch,
similar to how geoserver does it.

One problem with only generating the site from trunk is that the site
currently includes the examples. It would make sense to have examples
for both the stable branch and the trunk.

So to remedy this how do people feel about the following:

a. Move the examples from the site into the userguide

b. Create docs.geotools.org that contains two links:

    1. a link to the stable userguide
    2. a link to the trunk userguide

c. Update the site to website to link to docs.geotools.org, or maybe
just directly to the stable documentation.

Thoughts?
