Ok, just tried on a XP virtual machine and yes, the build fails
on Windows (and windows only).

Mauricio, any idea? I tried to look into the grammar files but I
did not find anything suspicious.

It might be an encoding issue, I've see that error cited here:
https://javacc.dev.java.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=201

Btw, I see we're still using our home grown maven javacc plugin,
last time the issue was that we could not use the Mojo one
because it was not using an up to date enough version of javacc:

The current version seems to be depending javacc 5.0 though, so
they have upgraded in the meantime (not sure if this could be
helpful or not though).
