Hi guys, I'm about to commit this change in trunk only. Can I just confirm that it's OK to turn off validation, as in Andrea's original patch? I got the impression that the factory switch is preferred, but turning off validation is alright too. Maybe we can turn it off for now, and implement the validating FeatureFactory next time?
