Check the following files:

modules/extension/xsd/xsd-gml3/src/main/java/org/geotools/gml3/bindings/CurvePropertyTypeBinding.java
modules/extension/xsd/xsd-gml3/src/main/java/org/geotools/gml3/bindings/MultiCurvePropertyTypeBinding.java

And Check the method "getType()", you'll see what I mean.
