Turns out to be a simple fix. There was no mojo descriptor because there was no mojo. It's just the javadoc @source taglet that we use to get the module info into the docs.
Changed the packaging to "jar" and that fixed the warning (maven 2) / error (maven 3). Wish everything was that easy :) Michael On 18 November 2010 17:46, Ben Caradoc-Davies <ben.caradoc-dav...@csiro.au> wrote: > Aha, we've been ignoring that error for ages! > > On 18/11/10 14:27, Michael Bedward wrote: >> >> Ah... a glint of enlightenment... >> >> I just switched back to maven 2.2.1 and noticed when building the >> javadoc module it issues this warning: >> >> >> [WARNING] ******************************************************* >> [WARNING] Deprecation Alert: >> [WARNING] No mojo descriptors were found in this project which has a >> packaging type of maven-plugin. >> [WARNING] In future versions of the plugin tools, this will fail the >> build. >> [WARNING] If this project is an archetype, change the packaging type >> from maven-plugin to maven-archetype. >> [WARNING] ******************************************************** >> [WARNING] >> >> So we can't say it didn't warn us :) >> >> I'll have a look at it soon. >> >> Michael >> >> >> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ >> Beautiful is writing same markup.
