Hi Daniele; I had an idea in talking with Andrea on IRC.
uDig right now is pulling 2.8-SNAPSHOT; that means you could safely update
trunk (as trunk is 8-SNAPSHOT).
So in this case we are "saved by the bell", you can go ahead with your change.
In the future though it would be good to communicate a bit more; changing
dependencies with maven is going smoothly (even with mbedward doing it twice) -
it is just the case of imageio-ext when it changes the version of gdal used
that a bunch of extra work is required of me (and I would like to schedule a
couple of hours to make a smooth transition).
It seems that all your uploads are 10 days old; is that just a product of the
website infrastructure being changed? Or is this the first time those binaries
have been available for me to download?
I also note that win32 does not support ECW; is such support avaialble (as we
did add the license click through to the win32 installer).
