Doh, completely forgot about this module.
Would anybody complain if I build a store on top of it, so that we can use
it from GeoServer?
Jody, would this be useful in uDig as well?

Or should grids be managed in a different way? hmm.... map decorations or
data? They are a bit of both, one can legitimately build a grid to do
some filtering
or some analysis...
A process that generates the grid would be a good fit too... though I guess
having a store would make things easier in GS/uDig land...
