I know, I know... I know rather well.

The fact is that colours are not set in the library, but in the SLD, and I was 
afraid people would have gotten the wrong message: you may have noticed that I 
called the shapes without reference to their weather meaning (actually, I opted 
for something neutral such as "triangle", "emicircle", etc).

Yep, that's an issue.

I plan to extend it to the whole set of fronts (and add splines as well) as 
soon 
as the project I mentioned in another message will resume... or even earlier,
