Thanks for the feedback, Rini, and sorry it took me so long to respond. I am getting yanked between 3 (soon to be 4) different projects right now.
I will follow your advice and ping Niels once I free myself up enough to have be able to focus on it for a bit. I may also see how it could tie in with Hibernate Spatial since some co-workers are looking at that for other projects that are doing more direct queries with Hibernate and now need spatial support. (All this cool stuff to play with!)
