First of all a big welcome back!

I am really happy to see your code extends ContentDataStore? What did you 
think? We are trying to write up a tutorial on how to use ContentDataStore and 
it would be good if we could reuse some of the tests made for either this 
module or jdbc-ng.

Note the headers probably need to be changed - they say 2004-2011 right now - 
and the file I assume only started in 2011.

I judge from your email address (congrats? there was no announcement) that you 
are covered under the OpenGeo code contribution agreement.
