Given the lack of resources on this I don't see it being much easier, but I
see it as a more appealing
alternative to OpenJDK 6 which really nobody uses.
At least Oracle JDK 7 is starting to see some usage (not much, but some)
and supposedly
OpenJDK 7 is very similar to it (besides the graphics subsystem, that is).

Haven't seen any, lots of talks but nobody following up with real "meat" on
it.
When I get back some free time I may stand up a Windows XP build bot at
home, but that one won't
run OpenJDK anyways, if I take the time to stand it up I'd like to have it
be a reference server.
