I had arrived at the same conclusion and was going to add it as an example to
the developers guide. The original file is attached now for you.

> dies on translate BufferedImage
> GEOT-4255 (https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOT-4255) - Reprojecting feature
> collection fails if bursa-wolf params are missing in either source or target
> crs
> GEOT-4263 (https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOT-4263) - TimeParser in
> ImageMosaic is too lenient
> GEOT-4005 (https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOT-4005) - Provide logging for
> cascaded WMS queries

I think I regret listing GEOT-XXX numbers and descriptions; since they are
often worded as problems rather then fixes. Still it is fast to do…

Is wording them the other way around much better?

GeoTools 8.2 is a bug fix release, the following fixes are highlighted:

* Histogram operation handling of low, high and numBin parameters
* CustomPaletteBuilder fixed to work with translated BufferedImage
* etc...

Yeah that does not work at all… does not give readers the ability to scan the
announcement and see if they care.

How about …

Thanks to community members for the following github pull requests:

* Thanks to mbenowit for fixing ContourProcess
* Davide Savazzi for fixing ContentFeatureCollection isEmpty method, and the
logging cascaded WMS queries
* Tim Schaub for improving exception messages
* Victor Olaya for reviewing function parameter names
* Peter hopfgartner for setting up Reprojecting feature collection to use a
wider range of transforms

Cheers,
Jody
