Hi List,
we have created a new JIRA (GEOT-4370, [1]), to upgrade geotools to use the
latest ImageIO-Ext 1.1.6 version (which is about to be released in the next
hours).
Its main update is related to switching from GDAL 1.7.3 support to GDAL
1.9.2.
We have created several native libs set for linux (Ubuntu 11, Ubuntu 12,
Centos 5.8, for 32 and 64 system of all these configuration)
Simone is finalizing some updates to the home page [2], and some deployment
related to the windows binaries.
This new version also contains some general slight improvements, as well as
support for basic TurboJPEG encoding/decondig capabilities and a NITF
writer based on NITRO.
I think we will do the upgrade in a couple of days if there isn't any
objection.
