What if, for example, we dispose the Graphics2D the renderer is using, does
that end the rendering
in the code?
If so, that's the better option.
What I meant was, it's not worth to setup a separate thread if we cannot
stop it, as far as I remember that
thread will prevent the JVM used for tests to shut down
