Hi Mike,
It's hard to say because the remaining issues are not fresh in my head
any more, it's been a while and I'd have to have a look at it again. On
the top of my head, I'd expect probably about a few additional weeks of
work would suffice.

Hello Michael,
I am currently not working on the wfs-ng-2.0 branch any more because
funding dried up for this project and priorities changed.
I did however made quite some progress on wfs-ng-2.0 but there were
still a few remaining issues. Unfortunately that work is just sitting
there now.
I'd be very happy if I'd get the chance to finish that work...

Hi,
the wfs-ng code has been merged into geotools as of geotools 12.0,
which is being released.
I believe the pull request that merged the module was the
wfs-ng-improvements one, see
here: https://github.com/geotools/geotools/pull/460
Not sure where the wfs-ng-improvements-2.0 branch is, or who is
working on it, though.
