Yep. I believe this merits a proposal (actually, two, one in GeoServer land
too) since it's a change
in the project procedures and we need to make sure everybody is on board.
Feel free to add my +1 right away, the user community has not been
reporting significant issues
against betas anyways, so there is no point being rigid and try to dedicate
one extra month to
bug fixing, which is normally just wasted "waiting for Godot"
