This is not the significant API change, how will this affect
SimpleFeatureType, AttributeDescriptor and AttributeType?
How will client code discover the contents of the list in order to build
features properly?
What else should be modified to make it work end to end?
Seems like a lot of work, is it worth it to appease your well known array
allergy? ;-)
