I happen to love arrays of doubles and am going through a lot of API work
to try and ensure we can leave those the heck alone for JTS coordinate
sequences work :)
Thanks for the discussion Andrea, I think that supporting arrays of simple
types is a reasonable way forward given your chance to do so.
