Hi, I caught on some interesting chatter on the mapserver mailing list, where they are testing out a github application that would automatically open backport PRs based on labels provided on the master branch PRs.
The application is here: https://github.com/apps/backporting and its repostory and docs hee: https://github.com/tibdex/backport How does it work, you might ask? Well, it seems one just needs to add a special label to the PR indicating where to do the backports, and on merge the application will automatically create a backport PR on the indicated branch(es) QGIS is already using it with success and has been doing so for a while: [image: image.png] I'd suggest we do the same, for both GeoTools, GeoWebCache and GeoServer, a bit less work for us :-D Cheers Andrea == GeoServer Professional Services from the experts!
